Thank you for reporting this. I find it interesting and significant. I am a little befuddled that the grave is in Fort Washington (Prince George's County) rather than in Frederick or elsewhere in Frederick County.
When I was writing John Hanson's biography, I was able to conclusively rule out his having been buried in Frederick or at Mulberry Grove, his ancestral estate in Charles County, Maryland. All three of his burials occurred in Prince George's County, Maryland, where he died. However, if we could ask John Hanson where he would prefer to be buried, he would probably say next to his wife, daughter, and grandchildren in Mount Olivet Cemetery in Frederick.
